Stand 9  - DCC Demonstration  - Mike Rimes & Gwynne Chivers (Barry & Penarth MRC)
Digital Command Control (DCC) is becoming more popular, and many of the manufacturers are now selling locos already fitted with decoders and in some cases sound. In most cases, programming these decoders is relatively straightforward – but only if you know what to do!  Mike will have several examples of locos fitted with decoders, some fitted by the manufacturer, and others fitted by himself.  He will be showing how to use the information in the decoder information sheets and reference manuals to change the locomotive number, or set up lights, inertia and sound features as you want them. Please feel free to ask questions about programming or DCC in general.
